Pin up Victory Rolls with Blue Hair (Attempt 1)

Hello!

I have been attempting pin up styles, as you see from my last post.  I attempted victory rools this time as you see in the picture below.

I think it turned out quite well again, but while i was doing it tryed not to back comb (tease) my hair too much as i didnt want to make it more damaged as it already is.  By doing this i worked out that you really do need to tease it to make it perfect, the hair was being very stubborn and didnt want to stay so i had to use a lot of clips to keep them in.  I will defiantly be trying this again.



My Introduction

Hello I'm Jayd.  My name is actually Jade, I'm telling you this because a lot of people think my name is Jay D and that I'm a boy before looking at my profiles.  I'm Jayd and I'm a female!  I'm 18 and an Art Student,  i love music, fashion and of course art.

I still don't know what i want to do later in my life, but that's something i have to figure out.  Ive been studying art in Fine Art for the last 2 years and hopefully carry on doing so but even thought i have been studying fine art i have always decided to dabble into other types of art such as Graphic Design, 3D Sculpture and Textiles.  My tutor told me this is a bad thing because my portfolio is always a mess with the mixture of all things but i don't want to be limited in life as i have many interests that can't be only limited to one thing.  This year i am carrying on with Fine Art but hopefully i will be able to get some Graphic Design in too.

In this blog i am hoping to include my art life, fashion life, music life and just my life in general.  So stick around for the freak show!

Pin-Up Faux Fringe (Attempt 1) With Blue Hair

Attempt 1

I love the pin up style and everything about it so decided to try a faux pin-up fringe.



When i hhad finished i liked the end product but i couldnt get the sides of my fringe to sit up instead of down, i have a side fringe so it kept coming out.  I chose a checkered black and white wire hair band, black lips and big eyelashes to finish the look.  It took quite long to do because of my hair being soo stubbran.  But i will be trying it again.
